Backpacks were stuffed, shelves were stocked, and the energy was high. On July 25, Area Temps employees stepped in to support Shoes and Clothes for Kids, bringing enthusiasm and heart to a day packed with purpose. Our team helped organize thousands of donated supplies for Cleveland students as part of their Stuff the Bus campaign.
A Day of Teamwork
The warehouse buzzed with activity as volunteers worked side by side to prepare supplies for distribution. From the moment we arrived, it was all hands-on deck. We unloaded boxes, counted inventory, and organized shelves to create a welcoming space for students. What followed was a day fueled by teamwork, purpose, and a shared commitment to helping local children head back to school with confidence.
Beyond the volunteer work, the day offered something more for our team. Stepping outside the office gave us a chance to work together in a new way and connect over a shared goal. It was a reminder of how meaningful it is to give back to the community.
Reaching New Heights
This year’s campaign reached a new milestone with a $62,250 donation—enough to fill 12 full buses with school supplies. The record-setting contribution will help equip students across the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and ensure they’re ready when classes begin on August 18.
Even with this record-setting donation, the need for continued support remains. Donations are still being accepted through September 15, and there are two easy ways you can contribute. You can either make a monetary donation or purchase school supplies directly from their Amazon Wishlist. Whether it’s a pack of crayons or a binder, every item helps a student feel prepared to learn.
