With back-to-school season approaching, Stuff the Bus helps turn a backpack full of school supplies into a brighter future. That’s why Areas Temps is proud to team up with Shoes and Clothes for Kids (SC4K) for their annual Stuff the Bus campaign. This year, we’re collecting the most needed supplies to support students across our community, ensuring they’re equipped to take on the school year with confidence.
Stuff the Bus is more than a school supply drive—it’s an investment in our children’s futures. Organized by SC4K, this annual campaign helps ensure that students throughout Northeast Ohio start the school year with the tools they need to succeed. By providing essential classroom materials, the campaign aims to provide students with the resources to explore new ideas, build critical thinking skills, and prepare for tomorrow’s careers. This year’s Stuff the Bus event will take place on Friday, July 24, with opportunities to donate and volunteer throughout the day.
At Area Temps, giving back to the community is at the heart of what we do—and that includes investing in the next generation of talent. In the coming weeks, we’ll be collecting donations at all five of our offices and volunteering at the Stuff the Bus event on July 24. It’s one meaningful way we’re helping students succeed today and shaping the workforce of tomorrow.
How You Can Help
There are several ways you can join us in supporting SC4K’s Stuff the Bus campaign:
1. Donate Supplies
Not sure what to bring? We’ve compiled a list of recommended supplies you can drop off at your nearest Area Temps location between June 25 and July 23:
- Colored pencils
- Composition & spiral notebooks (wide-ruled)
- Crayons
- Erasers
- Filler paper (wide-ruled)
- Markers (dry erase and washable)
- Pencils (#2)
- Pens
- Pocket folders
- Scissors (all sizes)
2. Make a Monetary Donation
Prefer to give online? You can still make a big impact by donating directly to SC4K. Every contribution helps provide essential school supplies to the students who need them most.
3. Volunteer with Us
Join us on Friday, July 24 to help distribute supplies and support students as they prepare for the new school year. It’s an inspiring way to give back, connect with the community, and see the impact of your support firsthand.
